1. The material of the tossed workpiece
Generally, we divide the material of the tossed workpiece into two categories, one is metal, the other is non-metal, and the metal can be divided into two categories, one is ferrous metal, including: iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel Wait. One is non-ferrous metals, including: copper, brass, bronze, zinc, aluminum, nickel, etc. Not metal, including: plastic, painted paint, wood, stone, etc. Often the material of the tossed workpiece is different, and the types of cloth wheels used are different. The fundamental choice is to think about the surface hardness of the tossed workpiece. Like iron metals, the surface hardness is higher, so hemp wheels are often used. To achieve its cutting effect, if non-ferrous metals are also used with hemp wheels, after polishing, the residual polishing marks on the surface are relatively thick, and most of them are not acceptable to customers. Therefore, we mostly use cotton wheels for polishing non-ferrous metals.
2. According to the sanding number of the previous project
Often the number of sanding in the previous project directly affects the choice of cloth wheel, polishing slurry or polishing paste for the polishing operation. If the selection is not appropriate, it will cause unnecessary cost and waste. The adjustment and matching in the process are also very important. The characteristics and composition of the polishing materials used must be understood very clearly, otherwise the best polishing materials will not achieve the expected results if they are used in inappropriate places.
3. According to the type of polishing equipment
The method of automatic polishing machine and manual polishing machine is exactly the same. The main reason is that the polishing workpiece of the automatic polishing machine is fixed on the fixture, and the cloth wheel shaft group moves in and contacts the polishing workpiece to achieve the polishing action, or The polishing task is fixed on the fixture and enters the side or below of the cloth wheel axle group through a conveyor belt to contact with it to achieve the polishing action. In the manual polishing machine, the cloth wheel axle group is fixed, and the operator holds the to-be-thrown workpiece and The cloth wheel touches the action to achieve polishing. In other words, different types of polishing machines have completely different basic forms of cloth wheel selection.
4. According to the shape of the workpiece to be thrown
After confirming the type of polishing machine and the shape of the workpiece to be polished, the form of cloth wheel selection can be roughly determined. Generally, for three-dimensional workpieces, a harder cloth wheel is mostly used, and then the contact is added according to the speed of the machine. The pressure is adjusted a little bit, but the workpiece to be polished with large drop and complex shape and contour surface, on the automatic polishing machine, choose a softer and elastic cloth wheel, on the manual polishing machine, choose the elasticity of the polishing contact mask. A very hard cloth wheel at the base.
