1. Polishing disc structure

Grinding disc, which includes a top disc, a buffer plate and a grinding sheet; wherein the top disc includes several riveting elements, an upper positioning plate, a top plate, a bolt, a lower positioning plate and a nut; the utility model By improving the bolt structure, firstly, the locking part of the bolt itself is engaged with the central hole of the top plate to provide horizontal accuracy, and then a polygonal fixing part under the bolt is opposite to the polygonal fixing hole of the lower positioning plate. It can be locked for vertical accuracy, thereby providing a grinding disc with good fixation and rotation stability; in addition, the design of the upper thread section, the engagement part and the fixing part of the bolt with different outer diameters makes the bolt difficult Loose, it has the advantages that the internal components are not easy to wear and the user does not cause soreness in the hands due to the unstable rotation of the grinding disc.

Polishing is based on a more refined process after grinding, so the choice of polishing materials is also more refined. The flat surface polishing machine is a kind of equipment that specializes in processing the surface brightness of the workpiece. There is an important configuration on it-the polishing disk. The choice of the polishing disc is very important, it affects the specific effect of the surface polishing of the workpiece to a certain extent, and is an indispensable part of the polishing process.

2. How to judge the pros and cons of the polishing disc?

(1). Material of polishing disc. We have explained in many previous articles that different workpieces need to use different polishing waxes or polishing discs. This time, we need to emphasize this point again. The material of the disc needs to be determined according to the specific material of the workpiece. For example: sapphire products can be used with copper discs, metal diamonds or stainless steel discs.

(2). The grain size of the polishing disc should be relatively fine. Polishing is a delicate process, and the disc used must be delicate and not too rough. Only a delicate disc can polish the surface layers of the workpiece and make it evenly into a mirror effect. Rough disks not only make the effect uneven, but also prone to scratches and spots on the surface.

(3). The polishing disc must have a certain degree of hardness. Because the workpiece and the disc will generate greater friction and heat during high-speed operation, if the polishing wax does not have a certain hardness, it is easy to produce cracks, scratches, sags and other phenomena. If these problems occur in the disc, the quality of the polishing of the workpiece cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, the proper hardness of the disk is very important. Too hard will not work, because too hard will easily damage the workpiece during the friction process. Therefore, when choosing according to the material, we try to choose a disc that is slightly harder than the material of the workpiece for polishing, so that the effect is best.

(4). The material used for the polishing disc must have a certain degree of heat resistance. Why is it necessary to have heat resistance? There is no doubt that friction heat is a well-known physical principle. If the disc is not heat resistant, then after a certain period of grinding, the disc will automatically break when the temperature reaches a certain value. Or destroy the workpiece. Although we have a cooling device on the flat polishing machine, materials with good heat resistance are more suitable for polishing discs.

3. The influence of the grinding disc on the plane processing. When the plane grinder uses the grinding disc for plane processing, the surface flatness of the workpiece after grinding will appear convex. To eliminate the error in the flatness of the workpiece, it is necessary to use a convex shape Polishing wax can better ensure the surface flatness of the parts.

The grinding disc used with the surface grinder should generally maintain the best convex size. According to the type, size and specification of the workpiece, and the proficiency of the operator, the workpiece needs to obtain a good planarity, and the planarity of the workpiece needs to be ensured. The measurement method and the diameter of the grinding disc.

In mass production and processing, it is generally necessary to trim the polishing wax to the required convex shape of the workpiece. This work is a relatively complicated task. In single-piece and small-batch production, the grinding disc is locally heated. Able to achieve the required amount of convexity. In the manual grinding process, it is mainly skilled in the technology, which will have a certain impact on the flatness of the workpiece. Only by understanding these in the processing can an ideal planar effect on the surface of the workpiece be obtained.
