We all love how clean and shiny a vehicle looks when it's been well cleaned and polished - but many of us just don't have the time. Electric bumpers can help speed up the process, while premium products help keep the shine longer.
Like any power tool, it takes a little time to get used to and master the technique. Make sure you practice on a piece of scrap before moving to your vehicle.
Rotary Buffer is designed for heavy cut surface paint. It's great for removing swirls, scratches, and paint defects, but is more prone to paint damage.
Random orbital bumpers alter the point of contact to minimise the risk of damage. However, the Random Orbital Bumper is only good for removing light paint swirls and blemishes. It has little effect on scratches and paint defects.
Before you start, make sure you are working in a well-lit area. Good lighting allows you to clearly see swirls, scratches and imperfections.
Apply Polish
Once the panel is dry, apply a small amount of polish to the applicator pad.
Work polished into panels
Put buffer on the panel and apply polish before opening.
Move the buffer from left to right and up and down in overlapping motion
segmented work
Start at low revs and slowly increase the revs, but keep them in the lower rev range to prevent damage.
The shock absorbers only require light pressure to work. Keep touching.
Complete one in small parts before moving on to the next.
A light spray of Quick Detailing agent on the pad can make application easier.
new look
When the polish is dry or clear, use a microfiber cloth to remove residue. Check the results and if you are satisfied, go to the next section.
