Precautions For Using Sponge Tray

(1) Large torque:

People who are accustomed to the wool pan will feel uncomfortable when using the sponge: when the sponge pan is "painted" in use, it seems that the sponge is "sticked" to the paint of the car and does not turn smoothly. In severe cases, the rotor of the machine seems to be "idling". The reason for these phenomena is related to the material of the sponge. The adhesion [holding power] of the sponge is strong. Take a towel and a sponge and grind the sassafras on a flat surface. You will find that the sponge is much more astringent. This strong adhesion creates a large torque between the tray and the cutting disc. If this phenomenon occurs, you should pay attention to the following aspects: Keep the polishing disc clean and do not use too much abrasive polishing agent.

(2) The number of revolutions should not be too large:

The torque of the sponge plate is large, and there is also the possibility of burning paint. It is generally recommended that the number of revolutions of the polishing machine does not exceed 1800 revolutions per minute, and the gear is generally 3-4 gears. For some polishing machines without gears, they should be used as appropriate according to the actual paint surface and disk conditions.

(3) Techniques and angles:

Although the cutting force of the sponge disc is weaker than that of the wool disc, when throwing the paint corners (top cover, handlebars, etc.), you also need to pay attention to the technique and angle (basically the same as the wool disc above), otherwise it will be thrown through the car. Lacquer is just a difference in time.
